Jan Schlösser (born September 27, 1982) is a German footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. He is currently on a break from football. Schlösser was part of the youth setup at Eintracht Frankfurt before joining Bayern Munich in 1997, aged 14. During an injury crisis he was named on the substitutes' bench for a UEFA Champions League tie against Rangers on 21 September 1999, aged just 16 years 359 days.[1] Schlösser later saw regular action with Bayern's reserves, but never made an appearance for the first team, despite being a squad member from 2003 to 2005. In 2006, he was released, and after a year without a club he joined local amateur team FC Ismaning. In 2009, Schlösser left Ismaning to take a break from football.
Schlösser made 40 appearances for Germany at various youth levels, including one cap for the under-21 team.
